Lisa was born in her family's home state of North Carolina and raised in Virginia surrounded by the Allegheny and Blue Ridge Mountains. She has enthusiastically enjoyed boating, sailing, scuba diving as well as having a great fondness for the beach. Her natural affinity towards the water led her to settle on the Carolina Coast where she is able to continue to pursue these activities as well as dedicate herself to her career and clients.

Lisa brings a wide knowledge of other subjects to her current career she has a degree in Biology or Microbiology from the University of Memphis and is a licensed Medical Technologist. She has worked in hospitals, private laboratories, and also as a Technical Service Representative for Becton Dickinson Diagnostics. She left the workforce to dedicate her time and energies to raising and educating her children, Clark and Madeline. After this enjoyable period, Lisa decided to turn her focus to real estate. In 2009, she was licensed in Maryland and joined the Landmark team in 2012.

Her positive approach to the real estate business and her love and knowledge of the local area has helped her as she strives to help her clients achieve their goals in the Wilmington coastal market.
